.Over the years Lytchett Matravers Primary School and our children have always enjoyed supporting national charity events and raising awareness of important issues. This year we would like to support ‘Odd Sock Day’ as part of Anti-Bullying Week.
LMPS are currently taking part in Team GB and Paralympic GB's Virtual Travel to Tokyo challenge!
On Tuesday 23rd March the Year 4 children had a fantastic trip back in time for their ‘Walk like an Egyptian’ drama day
On Friday 19th March 2021, Lytchett Matravers Primary School wore red to support ‘Comic Relief 2021’ and together we raised an amazing £406.73! Thank you.

On Monday 28th of September, LMPS welcomed Will from the Art of Being Brilliant. He whisked pupils on a journey of positivity, where they began to understand how to increase their level of happiness.

During this period of school closure, we understand that students and families may still be in need of the additional emotional and safeguarding support. I would like to reassure you that whilst you son or daughter is at home during the school closure, we will endeavour to continue to provide pastoral support, in addition to supporting your child in continuing their education using on line resources. In the spirit of keeping our hands as clean as possible, Year 6 have come up with some lyrics to a well known tune to try to encourage the children (and adults) to wash their hands for the recommended amount of time.
