Year 6 Celebrate National Shakespeare Week
18th-22nd March 2019... The week started with Year researching and reporting on why Shakespeare is considered to be one of the best writers - ever.

18th-22nd March 2019... The week started with Year researching and reporting on why Shakespeare is considered to be one of the best writers - ever.
Harold and the Life Education Van came to visit Lytchett Matravers Primary School. The Life Education Van is a charity that provides health, well-being and drug education to children aged 3-13 years.
On Monday 18thMarch the Year 4 children had the opportunity to take part in a young artists workshop organised by Purbeck Arts Week. Local artist Helen Biles inspired our children and showed them how to create sculptures out of wire.
This term our Student Voice chose to support ‘Comic Relief’ and as ever all the children at Lytchett Matravers did a great job.
25th February - 10th March... Every year our children produce incredible work surrounding Fairtrade and the importance of a fair wage.
COLOURFUL and vibrant characters from the world of literature were brought to life by pupils and staff at Lytchett Matravers Primary School. From fairytale characters, crossed dressed boys, to the amusing characters from David Walliams’s books- the school was full of well-loved and animated book characters!
On Thursday 7thMarch, 13 of our students travelled over to Bournemouth Rugby Club to participate in a Tag Rugby Festival. There were lots of other schools there with over 250 children attending the event. The emphasis was on fun and enjoyment as only 5% of the children there actually play rugby outside of school.

The rest of the Digital Leaders and I would like to invite you to a meeting with Dorset Police’s Safer Schools Community Team on Wednesday 27th February 2019 at 9.15 to 10.15 in the hall.
On Tuesday the 5thFebruary, Year 3 went on a school trip to Stonehenge.
On Wednesday the 30th of January, Anneka Schofield and Emma Stephens from the RSPB visited our school to help us complete a Big School Bird Watch.
On Thursday 24th January, SusTrans began their second visit to L.M.P.S at 1:20pm.
