We Want Golf!

Exciting news hits the school with the new relationship with Sturminster Marshall Golf Club and their golf professionals Mike Dodd & Charlie Pillinger.  The club have been granted funding to enable them to offer golf as a sport to local schools.  

Following our recent children's PE questionnaires, Golf was a sport that many children wanted to experience as part of their PE lessons in school, so on Monday, the professionals attended LMPS to do an assembly and a whole day of golf coaching for the whole school!  

The children had a fantastic time and learned so much.  Thank you Sturminster Marshall Golf Club and their golf professionals Mike Dodd & Charlie Pillinger for making our children's wishes come true!  

Girls Golf: The team at Sturminster Marshall GC have extra funding for all girls who would like to try golf together with Sport England.  There is a taster date on Friday 24th March 5.30 – 7pm so please sign your daughter up for the all girls taster session.
